About Us

Why bamboo?

Very quickly grows into an attractive screen on your boundary, making it a great option for those searching for bamboo in Melbourne. It can easily grow 2m+ per season and is pest resistant. Additionally, it serves as an elegant garden feature, such as pathway edging, making it a popular choice among bamboo nurseries in Melbourne. Possums rarely attempt to climb or inhabit bamboo, which adds to its appeal.

NOTE: We offer mostly non-invasive varieties at our bamboo nursery in Melbourne. However, a limited number of invasive (or 'running') plants are available for those looking to create a small bamboo forest or who have a strictly enclosed garden area.

Details of commonly available plants can be found in our Current Stock, so if you're looking for bamboo near me, be sure to check it out.
